This weekend the Sydney Harbour Bridge was closed to traffic and turfed with real grass to let people have a picnic breakfast on one of Sydney’s greatest landmarks.
For people like me who couldn’t make it to Webstock this year, they have posted all the talks online.
Good stuff.
This is a great short talk from Jason Santa Maria about design on the web, how it differs from print and he challenge to make it better than it is.
This is a shorter version of much of the stuff he covered when I saw him at Webstock last year, and it is some really challenging stuff. He is currently trailblazing the way - having different art-directed looks for different blog posts. Truly astounding.
I can only hope to one day be as talented as he is.
This is a fantastic example of a company working with negative feedback (of sorts) online and turning it into an advantage. Some guy found a glitch in EA Sports’ game “Tiger Woods Golf” and posted a video of his player (in the game) taking a shot while standing on top of the water in the middle of a pond.
EA Sports posted the following video on response.
