Youthworks needed promotional artwork for the Youth Ministry Conference in 2010. jordesign came up with a film poster themed promotional series to promote and inform prospective attendees.

Architecture 10 was an exhibition run by the organisers of the UrbanIslands architecture program which runs in Sydney. jordesign handled all the design work for the event, including invitations, flyers, posters, signage and the exhibition catalogue.

Leaders In Training

Leaders in Training is run in January of each year, and Youthworks approached us to come up with their promotional work and website for the next camp in 2010.

Based on the camp theme “Poor… Torn… Steadfast!” we came up with an eye catching and emotive visual direction. The design was carried out through the brochure, various web banners and ads, a self-standing website and more.

Design+Build is a blog written and maintained by jordesign, that focuses on visual design and how it relates to the fields of architecture, interior design, and environmental design.

We needed some business cards that carried the clean, simple but bright design of the site into the physical world, to spread the word about the site.

Tourism Innovations Publicity

Tourism Innovations is a New Zealand based company specialising in online services to the tourism industry. They required publicity materials, and other print items to promote some of their products, and consumer facing websites. As with much tourism focused work, the hero of each design tends to be the imagery, evoking the majesty and wonder of the NZ landscape.

Embers to a Flame Brochure

After the sucess of the previous From Embers to a Flame conference, the Ministry and Mission Committee of the Presbyterian Church of Australia approached jordesign again to design updated brochures for the new 2009 conference.

Arai Helmet Print Ads

Motorcycle accessory brand Arai needed a set of print ads for their new range of helmets. The A4 advertisements were initially for inclusion in Two Wheels magazine, but was later used in various other publications as well.

We were supplied with a very open brief and photos of the various helmets, and left pretty much to our own devices. The Ads were pieced together in Indesign before colour correction and prepress.

Ministry and Mission Stationery

The Ministry and Mission committee of the Presbyterian Church of NSW needed to update their visual identity. The old logo was no longer a fair indication of the work they were doing within the church, and the colour scheme didn’t fit with the visual identity of the wider Presbyterian church.

In addition to the new logo, we also worked on letterhead, with comps, notepaper and business cards to match.
