Fourcorners had for many years been one of the leading tourism websites in New Zealand. Home to huge amounts of useful information, maps and activites, it also housed a substantial list of tourism operators details in a searchable and filterable system.
The site had been undergoing consistent development work, but the design had remained stagnant for a number of years. Additionally, the influx of content over many years meant the site structure and architecture was no longer ideal for the type and breadth of content being housed within the site.
Jordesign was responsible for a large scale redesign of the site, including site architecture, look and feel, layout, navigation and interface design and more.
The site architecture was reworked to better fit the type of content, and navigation utilising the use of large “super-dropdown” menus was implemented to allow quick access to a wide range of site sections.
A fresh look was set for the site, relying on stunning NZ imagery and a blue and green colour scheme reminiscent of the beautiful scenery in New Zealand’s South Island.
